Context

The project

International communication, business development, destination and hospitality marketing, brand identity and creative consulting — for hotels, tourism operators, cultural institutions, artists, entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Featured: TAAG Angola Airlines — marketing, sales and international communication between Angola, Europe and the Americas.

The objective

To help each organisation, entrepreneur or artist discover the story they want others to remember — and to build the bridges through which that story travels.

My role

Listening, editing, art-directing, negotiating, connecting. Multilingual, cross-cultural communication. The quiet work of turning conversations into partnerships.

The process

Every conversation has the power to open a door.

I build bridges between people, cultures and ideas — transforming communication into understanding, opportunities into partnerships, and connections into lasting relationships.

Communication has never been separate from hospitality. It is another way of creating meaningful connection between people, organisations and experiences.

International communication.

Five languages, used daily, across markets that do not always trust each other before they trust a person. Cross-cultural mediation, stakeholder management, negotiations. TAAG Angola Airlines was the clearest lesson — marketing, sales and communication between Angola, Europe and the Americas, where every message had to survive three cultural translations without losing its meaning.

Business development and commercial thinking.

Product development, sales support, contracting, market expansion, partner management. In tourism and hospitality, opportunities only exist between people who understand each other. My work has always been to find the space in which that understanding can happen — and then to protect it long enough to become a partnership.

Marketing and positioning.

Destination marketing, tourism marketing, hospitality marketing. Storytelling as strategy rather than decoration. Every branding project has begun the same way: a long, unhurried conversation. Not a briefing. A conversation, in which the person forgets they are meant to sound like a brand. Somewhere in that conversation, one sentence appears that they didn't plan. That sentence, more often than not, becomes the brand.

Branding and creative consulting.

Personal branding, communication strategy, social media, editorial direction, project management. Craft — type, colour, image, rhythm — in service of the one honest sentence a person didn't know they were about to say.

Whether welcoming a guest, negotiating with a partner, supporting an entrepreneur, developing a brand or coordinating an international project, the objective has always remained the same. Helping people understand one another. Creating meaningful connections. Making every interaction feel natural.

Before & After

From information to meaning

Before

A message clearly written, correctly translated, and quietly ignored.

After

A conversation the reader carries into their next meeting, in their own words.

Project Highlights

What I learned

Looking back, every profession taught me a different language — not only spoken languages, but the languages of hospitality, creativity, leadership and human connection. Together, they became my perspective.
