Introduction
This is not a résumé.
Nor a portfolio.
Nor a biography.
It is a manifesto of perspectives.
These pages bring together the people, places, cultures and experiences that have shaped the way I observe the world, communicate, make decisions and define hospitality.
Every place I passed through opened a new chapter.
Every chapter taught me a truth.
Every truth added a new perspective.
In time I came to understand that hospitality is not a skill we acquire.
It is a way of seeing the world.
A way of standing before others.
It does not begin on arrival.
Nor at check-in.
It begins long before.
In our attitude.
In how we listen.
In how we observe.
In the commitment we make to ourselves.
And in how we choose to make others feel.
Guided by one simple conviction:
No matter where we are in the world, we all need to feel at home.
No matter where we are in life, we all need to feel welcomed.
No matter where we come from, or where we’re going, we’re all looking for the same feeling:
Belonging.
Understanding People.
Creating Experiences.
Connecting Worlds.
